Long overdue update!
Lots of changes over the past year but pretty much back to normal and painting in full swing at last.
This means my fabric work has taken a back seat, but I am sure I will get back to it sometime.
You may notice a change in my paintings - due to a great new teacher and lots of inspiration. Buildings & street scapes still my main love, but I really enjoy painting anything with shape & texture. I have a computer full of source mterial & not enough time to get to them!
Recently met an artist idol of mine - John Pointon. A lovely man who generously spent time answering my questions & generally inspiring me to keep at it!
Enjoy my new work!

New Art
I have added some new fabric pictures to my Textile Art Gallery. I am finding it hard to keep up with the demand for my fabric work, but am enjoying the creative process!
Will have some new paintings up soon.
Recently we heard that Donald Mackay won a silver award for his production of my web site. Considering that it was his first effort this is an amazing feat. Congratulations Donald.
My giraffe chair won first prize and also the viewers choice award in the recent competition at The Artists Cottage. You can check him out in my gallery. He is now home & resident on my front verandah.

New pictures
I have added a couple of new pictures to my Painting Gallery.
Also check out my decorated chair for the Mad March Decorated Chair Exhibition at the Artists Gallery on display until the end of March. These are in The Artist at Work & Play Gallery.
Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances I was unable to attend the Mcgregor Summer School. Very disappointing, but these things happen.
I hope to be able to attend at a future date.
A slow start to the year, but am beginning to get my creativity back & am working on a couple of new pictures as welll as completing a commission piece in fabric.
